About the Summit
The Annual Zero Abuse Project Summit is back in-person! The Summit will run June 8-9, 2023 in Orlando, Florida, and will focus on the current research and emerging issues in the field of forensic interviewing and child abuse investigations. This conference is for all multidisciplinary team members, including law enforcement, CPS, prosecutors, and forensic interviewers.
As an addition, we will be hosting our National Peer Review on June 7th for currently practicing forensic interviewers. The peer review is open to 75 participants.

2023 Awards Luncheon
Zero Abuse Project seeks to acknowledge those leaders dedicated to children and families by working to make the world a safer place. This year, we will be giving out three awards at the 2023 Awards Luncheon on Thursday, June 8th, 2023. This luncheon is included in your registration fee!
- Lifetime Achievement Award
The award recognizes and promotes individuals who have made a significant contribution to the field of child maltreatment and the advancement of best practices for the field. - Forensic Interviewing Award
The award recognizes a forensic interview professional who demonstrates extraordinary dedication and skill in the field of forensic interviewing. - Law Enforcement Award
The award recognizes a law enforcement professional who demonstrates extraordinary dedication to the field of child maltreatment and direct service care on behalf of children and families.

Summit Details
Cancellation policy:
We offer a refund minus a $25 administrative fee for each cancelled registration. We do not offer refunds if you fail to notify us prior to the conference you can’t attend. Zero Abuse Project must be notified 7 full business days before the start of the Summit to qualify for a refund or transfer (by May 31, 2023). No refunds will be offered for early bird tickets.
Transfers:
Registrations can be transferred to a different attendee for a $25 administrative fee.

A general session ticket includes the 2023 Summit sessions on June 8-9, including an awards luncheon on June 8th.
We will be offering a forensic interviewing peer reviewing session on June 7 for an additional cost. This session is limited to 75 participants. You will be prompted to purchase this ticket as an add-on when you register via Eventbrite. Attendees that have not purchased an add-on ticket for June 7 will only have access to the June 8-9 sessions.
Because CEU requirements differ widely by state, Zero Abuse Project will provide all the materials to registered attendees to register for CEUs invidivually in their own states.
Certificates of Attendance will be available upon request.
