Course Description

The field of child abuse and maltreatment exposes practitioners to secondary traumatic stress; the forensic interview is where the most intimate and detailed accounts of this abuse and maltreatment are gathered. This training discusses the importance of self-care for the forensic interviewer and how individuals, organizations, and systems can best support frontline professionals.
