Biography
Rebecca is a fundraising development expert with more than 15 years of international experience working for the United Nations in New York and Rome, Salvation Army in the US, and her own nonprofit.
She is currently the Director of Development at Zero Abuse Project where she creates and implements ongoing strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors while securing gifts and building lasting relationships.
Rebecca is committed to centering racial justice and dismantling structural inequities in the child protection field. She has experience in leading major gifts fundraising efforts, multiyear campaign pledges, and a proven track record of achieving her fundraising targets and goals.
Rebecca holds a Master’s Degree in Economics, a Bachelor’s Degree in Information and Communication Technology Management (ICT) and a Certificate IV in Law. She speaks 5 languages and has strong interpersonal and analytic skills. Rebecca believes that the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.
