7th Annual Running HOME for Jacob

Running HOME for Jacob

Running HOME stands for Hope for Our Missing and Exploited. It is so powerful when we see families walk, run, or roll to support searching families and those who have lived through exploitation and abuse. It sends a message that we don’t forget about the missing and that everyone has a right to be safe.

For the third year in a row, Running HOME for Jacob will be virtual.

Participants will have the opportunity to run or walk a 5K or 11K between 10/11/2022 – 10/22/2022. October 11th represents the #11forJacob and Oct 22nd was the day Jacob was taken from us in 1989. Join us in a family friendly event to celebrate kids and support the mission of JWRC, a program of Zero Abuse Project. It is our goal to raise $50,000 this year. Thank you to all who choose to get involved!

register now!

We have exciting capabilities with our virtual event! This year, participants can:

  • Track and upload finishing times
  • Track and upload distance
  • Upload a screenshot of routes
  • Create an individual fundraiser
  • Run/walk in teams from anywhere

We will be honoring:

  • Fastest 5K (overall)
  • Fastest 11K (overall)
  • Longest cumulative distance walked or run over the course of the 12 days
  • Most money raised (individual and team)
  • Most creative route

Thank you for believing, as we do, that everyone has a role to play in keeping kids safe. Together we can build a world where every child is free from abuse.
